RAM Questions - Speed, Latency, Vengance Pro RGB & ASUS Formula X

I need to replace the RAM in my current build (Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz (PC4 25600) C15) cause Im using it on my older (2016) build for my wife.

I was thinking of going with a newer kit, the Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 3600MHz C18.

Has anyone tried these with an ASUS ROG Maximus X Formula? ASUS hasnt updated the Memory QVL in a few months (these were released much after). Would I be able to run these at the advertised speeds? Does anyone have any experience with the Corsair Vengance RGP Pro in general?

I'm definitely not a ram expert. But I do know the lower latency ram tends to perform better in most situations.

Not sure if this helps. But it's something I heard a while ago and it helped me to understand ram better. Ram speed is like how many files you can grab off the shelf and carry. And latency is how fast you can carry them back to your desk.

Hopefully someone has a better answer. I wouldn't mess with anything over cas 16.
