ram randomly freezing computer in games when turning ram to 3000mhz (multiplier)

hello i recently build this system but for the odd reason when i clock my ram at 3000mhz it sometimes freezes my entire computer and i have to power off the system by hand i have not touched any of the timings or voltages i only used the multiplier to set it to 3000mhz does it need a little voltage bump to keep this from happening?
Cpu:ryzen 7 2700x (stock cooler)
Mobo:aorus x470 gaming pro
Gpu:gigabyte rtx 2070 windforce
Ram: 32 gb of vengeance lpx corshair 3000mhz
Psu:750 rm corshair

Enable xmp/docp instead of just changing the multiplier. It changes all the correct settings for you
