[SOLVED] RAM reading at wrong speed. Enabling D.O.C.P causes immediate crashing.

Recently I have been experiencing erratic power issues with my PC. I tried a new power supply which has made it more stable to the point where it is no longer crashing random. Previous to this when installing two sticks it would crash on boot and with one stick in it could randomly shut down with no rhyme or reason.

The issue is that my ram is still reading at the wrong speed still and when I enable D.O.C.P. it automatically and instantly crashes on boot.

My ram is

VENGEANCE® RGB PRO 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16 Memory Kit — Black

Is your bios up to date, and have you tried a CMOS reset? Also your ram should be in A2 and B2 per user manual.

Switched slots and now it seems to be reading correctly in CPU-Z
Because its dual channel it should read as 1599MHZ correct?

I suppose it was a power supply issue all along and I did not put my ram back into the correct slots when putsing around with it.

Yes 3200 would be 1600, +/- a few mhz. DDR stands for Dual Data Rate.
