RAM recommendation for P4P800SE, 1 or 2 sticks for 512Mb?

I just bought one of these MBs online and want to pick up 512Mb of RAM.

Should I go with a 1*512Mb or 2*256Mb config for performance? I plan to
buy a 533MHz Celeron.

Thanks.

2x256MB, with one stick on each channel, works best.
That allows the motherboard to run in dual channel mode.

If your budget allows, go for some low latency performance ram for the full
benefit but be sure the voltage is set correctly in bios.

Sorry I don't have the original post but will a 533 Mhz Celeron even work
(fit) in that board? The slowest P4 Celeron I see listed is a 1.7 Ghz.

The 533MHz is likely FSB533, as in Celeron D.

Yes, 533 FSB.
