RAM recommendations for 1st time builder! Need help

Hi, i'm building my first PC and I needed some suggestions for what kind of RAM/brand/series I should use. I recently ordered a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128627 and I didn't want to order some random RAM.

I want to get 2x4gb RAM sticks.. but I don't want to get something that isn't compatible (if RAM/Mobo compatibility issues are a thing). http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231544 is the RAM I had in mind as my budget is around $70. Would this RAM be acceptable with this motherboard?

No exact match to the supported memory list, but that is just a guideline. As long as you match the timings, voltages, and speeds, you should be fine.

Should a beginner like me tweak said timings/voltages/speeds?.. or is it pretty standard difficulty?

Great sticks, should have no problems, believe the GB mobo supports DOCP so simply go into BIOS, enable DOCP, select 1600 and should be good to go...If any problems give me a shout ! 😉
