The RAM I purchased for my current build has been a bit spotty and required manual tuning to even get to run at 3200. However lately the OC has been failing and required multiple attempts to get it to boot at 3200.

I've tuned and toyed with it enough and rather just replace it with some more compatible/better quality RAM. Below are my specs, could someone help me get some better quality RAM that will work at 3200 right out of the gate?

I've looked on AsRocks site at compatible RAM for my particular processor but 3200 support seems to be a bit lacking but I'm sure some users experiences vary compared to the list.

The processor isn't an issue though, my 2600 is OC'd to 4.0 at 1.35v and runs great. I plan to upgrade my processor eventually but probably more into the R7 range.
The 2nd gen Ryzens do suffer more from incompatible RAM than the 3rd gen Ryzen

I'm running at BIOS version 3.60
the site mentions staying on 3.5 for Pinnacle based processors
in my opinion that´s false, because the latest update is a AGESA 1004 combo update, which combines all Ryzen generations. Update to the latest version 3.9, to get the latest AGESA improvements

Was the BIOS updated to the latest version?

I would sell the 2600 and get the 3600 instead of getting new RAM, if you don´t wanna modify the BIOS RAM settings excessively.

You can use the tool "Ryzen DRAM calculator"
https://www.techpowerup.com/download/ryzen-dram-calculator/

The RAM itself is actually using settings from the DRAM calculator but thank you for offering it. I've used it's settings with some minor user recommended tweaks and it's runs ... stable..ish

The problem with it is that it's stable using membench at 3200 16, 16, 19, 39. It doesn't tend to crash rather it has issues if I shut the PC down or my 5700xt has one of it's occasional black screens. When this happens the RAM looses it's OC and the PC generally needed between 1-3 reboots via booting from the BIOS to run at the aforementioned 3200 speed.

It's just the annoyance of dealing with that, I rather get more stable/better RAM with potential OC headroom in the future when I do upgrade rather then get a new processor but still deal with dicey RAM.

Edit: missed the question about the update. I'm running at BIOS version 3.60, the site mentions staying on 3.5 for Pinnacle based processors but I made the mistake of using the install disc provided which put 3.6 by default. Doesn't seem to have caused any noticable issues though.
