[SOLVED] Ram RGB seems out of sync - anyone got an idea why?

I have 4 Corsair ram bars in my motherboard .. and configured them in iCue to run a sequential Marquee pattern. When the system starts - everything seems fine. But after a while, the pattern gets out of sync - meaning the different bars display their RGB light in a more chaotic order.

I already tried restarting iCue - which does not help. The ram sticks seem to be on different "timers".

Is that a fault with the motherboard maybe? (which is an Asus - not a Corsair motherboard) - or is there something else wrong ... or does that just happen.

Corsair don't make motherboards
Icue is just odd sometimes. I only have 2 sticks and basically just have them set to be the same colours all the time.
