RAM running in single channel?

Hi. I have bought this RAM

But the speccy shows that it only runs at 666Mhz when should 1600Mhz.

Help appreciated. (I have Z97 Gaming 5 motherboard btw)

Make sure you have them in the correct slots for dual channel operation.

Make sure you have them in the correct slots for dual channel operation.

I put my ram like this:

R O R O

R - RAM
O - Empty

Now it runs in dual-channel, but its still only 666Mhz.
