Ram running on 2000 mhz, even though bios xmp setting is set at 3000 mhz.

I just added 2x4 gb of 3000mhz ram on top of the 2x4 gb 2800mhz ram i already had in my system. My computer was running smoothly at 2800mhz with the correct xmp profile. After I installed the second set of ram, my bios only shows the new xmp profile set at 3000mhz. When i run cpu-z however it shows my DRAM freq is 931.1 mhz instead of the expected 1400 or 1500 mhz (either the the lower speed or the higher according to the xmp.)

Any ideas around on how to set the freq. of both sets of ram at either 2800 or 3000 mhz?

I have an asus b350 prime plus, ryzen5 1600, trident z f4-2800c15d-8tzb and trident z f4-3000c15d-8gtzb.
