Hi,
You might have seen from my other post about my new ram not working. It was the 2 x 8GB Kit (CMK16GX4M2Z3200C16) I think the reason for not working may have had something to do with the version I had. I had version 5.32 I think but only version 4.31 was listed on the QVL support list. I have now returned that kit to the shop for a refund.

I still want new ram but have lost confidence in selecting the right one.

I have seen this one (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16)
https://www.scan.co.uk/products/16gb-(2x8gb)-corsair-ddr4-vengeance-lpx-black-pc4-25600-(3200)-non-ecc-unbuffered-cas-16-18-18-36-xm

It’s on the list. There is no version listed so surely it will be ok. Only thing odd is it says it’s for Skylake, an Intel CPU I believe. I have AMD.
Is this a sure thing or will I run into issues aging as it says it’s for Sky Lake? There is a lot of information on the QLV list which I don’t understand. Is there anything else on the list that I should know about before choosing new ram?

AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Gigabyte B450 AORUS M
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 Super
Ram - Corsair 8GB (2x 4GB) 3000Mhz DDR4 Vengeance
1TB 860 evo SSD
650W Seasonic FOCUS Plus Gold

Thanks again
