Ram showing only on one slot

I have 3GB of ram 1x1 and 1x2.
I have a motherboard with two slots of ram witch are both used.
But if I go into RAMMon it says that I have only one slot used.
What should I do?

Please mention the specs of your system. Try shifting the RAM 2 to slot 1 and Slot 1 RAM to Slot 2.
