[SOLVED] RAM shows at 2133MHz instead of 3000 MHz

I have a 3000MHz RAM Stick (16G Corsair) DDR4 and I brought a 3000MHz just because I saw that RYZEN 3 2200g or any Ryzen CPU/APU works better with high clock speed RAM instead of low click speed RAM sticks.

But now when I check my task manager, I see RAM usage at Speed: 2133MHz

Any fix to this problem?

I have MSI B450M Pro VDH motherboard.
I know this question had been asked quite a few times but my mobo differ from all other threads I checked and I am unsure if the same fix will work with me. Help is much appreciated!

Solution
Check ram speed in CPU-Z (memory and spd sections). Post screenshots.
You should not trust Task Manager reported ram speeds. It is known to provide inaccurate data.

Generally to use ram above 2666mhz on B450 board, you have to enable A-XMP in BIOS.

Solution
Go into OC section,
set OC Explore mode to Expert and
set up A-XMP.

Thanks, it worked. I saw you got RYZEN 3 2200g, so I wanted to know if there is any way to use Ryzen iGPU with RX580 on a second monitor, and to render videos using the APU's iGPU.

I tried enabling via Bios but it shows as Microsoft Driver, instead of Vega 8 Graphics Driver, so would installing vega 8 driver on Win 10 with RX580's driver cause problems for my GPU or I can use both at the same time.

I understand crossfire doesn't work with ryzen raven rigged

You can find it in BIOS under Settings\Advanced\Integrated Graphics Settings.
Vega graphics driver has to be installed and it should not cause any problems.

Anyway - there's no point in using integrated graphics, if you have RX 580 in your pc
(unless you want to connect more monitors, than can be connected to RX 580).

I wanted to render videos using the ryzen 3 2200G alongside playing games or doing graphics intensive stuff.
It would be a waste to render video using the CPU and loose performance with a single task work such as rendering videos using vegas pro if I got an iGPU powerful enough to render small video clicks with ease without making me loose my ability to play games while I render videos.

THanks!
