Hi all
I have read multiple threads but I couldn't find the answer to my problem, So I have a laptop (dell inspiron 7559), I have been using it with 8gb ddr3 1600 Mhz ram, I bought another one with almost exact specification (from Samsung and made in Philippine PC3 12800s). I installed the ram on the other slot, and turned on the laptop it brought up the message from bious that memoryo n the system has changed and I continued, after going to the windows it showed only 8gb of Ram, so I checked the bios again it didn't show the Ram ( only 8 Gb was shown). I tried the ram on other laptop it worked fine, I tried another ram on my laptop the same problem happened.
So does this mean my laptop is defect ? because when I put any other ram than mine on the laptop it doesn't turn on. it only works with one ram on either of slots.
