I have a gaming pc, but when i was ordering it i forgot to change the ram to 8gb. They sent me 4gb in 1 stick at 1333mhz. I am going to buy more ram, and if i am going to buy ram i was wondering whether its better to buy 8gb of 1600mhz ram, and just use the 8gb, or to buy 8gb more of the 1333mhz ram (so i would have 12gb in total)

The specs of my PC are as follows:
cpu=2500k
gpu=gtx560Ti
ram=4gb 1333mhz Kingston hyper x blu (in 1 dimm)
Motherboard=asus p8p67

Welcome to Tom's Forum! :)

Ideally, with the low prices of RAM either a matched set of 2x4GB DDR3-1600 or better 4x4GB DDR3-1600 both cases @ 1.50v. Now down to your situation, I'd send the RAM back if possible and exchange it for a set.

4GB vs 8GB vs 16GB, also pay attention to 64-bit games; see -> http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/ram-memory-upgrade,2778-8.html
DDR3-XXXX CAS X comparisons, ideally DDR3-1600 CAS 8/9; see -> http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/memory/2011/01/11/the-best-memory-for-sandy-bridge/1

However, another exact 4GB of Kingston HyperX Blu 4GB can work.

So the Answer is you, what you want to do, and the money you have if necessary to eBay/File-13 the 4GB stick. For 'me' it's a matched set of 4x4GB DDR3-1600 CAS 8/9 @ 1.50v.
