I recently purchased an old computer from a friend for around 50$, it wasn't a bad deal but we came across a problem while booting, one ram slot inside seems to not work while the other seems to not want to accept one of the RAM sticks, we tested the RAM stick in another computer and it worked fine.
this is what happens when the computer boots normally with the working RAM stick which is only 2 gigs, and this
is what happens when I try to boot with the 8 gig RAM stick which works on another mobo, the computer gets stuck in a loop of restarting and showing this and I am unable to get into the bios as it just simply doesn't let me. does anyone know a possible reason or fix to this as he said the stick used to work before in this computer, but that was when both slots were working. now there is only the one slot.
