RAM slot for z170a M7 mobo problem

Dear Guys.

I have four Kingston HyperX FURY DDR4 Memory (8GB each) and apparently I can only install maximum two of them at the corresponding combination slots. Otherwise the computer wont display anything (just blank screen)

Ram Slot 1 - Yes
Ram Slot 2 - No
Ram Slot 3 - Yes
Ram Slot 4 - No

OR

Ram Slot 1 - No
Ram Slot 2 - Yes
Ram Slot 3 - No
Ram Slot 4 - Yes

OR

Just put one ram in any slot = Yes

BUT NOT WORKING if I'm going to put it in:

Ram Slot 1 - Yes
Ram Slot 2 - Yes
Ram Slot 3 - No
Ram Slot 4 - No

Ram Slot 1 - No
Ram Slot 2 - Yes
Ram Slot 3 - Yes
Ram Slot 4 - No

Or any combination that near to each other

Any idea?

My computer
Intel i7-6700 (not K)
Currently running with just 16GB RAM (Kingston HyperX FURY DDR4)
Mobo - z170a Gaming M7
MSI Geforce GTX 970

Yes, that's how you install ram, but why would you want to put them beside each other?

Dear all,

Thank you for those who has give suggestion.

The problem is now solved.


Solved by:

1. My BIOS is v1.40. (where I can only put two (2) ram inside my four ram slots (where i have problem when inserting more than two(2) ram.)
2. Then I have updated the BIOS to v1.B0
3. Install that v1.B
4. Try with all slots (put all FOUR (4) memory of Kingston HyperX FURY DDR4 Memory (8GB each) = thus total is 32 GB now.
5. It's working even though the MSI memory compatibility stated that my ram only afford up to max 2 dimm (slots) only. (visit https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/Z170A-GAMING-PRO.html#support_support)

So, problem solved.
