Hi. I want to build ultra slim PC with Micro-ATX board. And it turns out that RAM is the problem, because it sticks out of the motherboard. Don't worry about CPU cooling, I think I know to fix that problem. What my first reaction was: "Can I just use RAM extender?". Like, can I just grab 288 cables (because it's DDR4) and connect each of the RAM pin to the pin in the slot? I know there are few RAM extenders (like this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/JET-5601AH-DDR4-DIMM-288pin-Extender/322568565573?epid=23004106164&hash=item4b1a95b345:g:luEAAOSwcj5ZUUj4 or this one: https://www.ecvv.com/product/3941135.html). The problem is that these are not cables, these are just hard PCBs and I cannot find any cable extenders. Would it even work? And what about performance? Would it hurt it that much? By what I know, PCIe extenders (used to connect GPU to motherboard) doesn't hurt performance of the GPU at all. Also, I can't see a difference between PCIe and DDR4 slot, so why isn't there any RAM extenders? Thank you already for help, I know these are tough questions.

I know that backplate will be higher, but the case doesn't need to be flat on the side. It's pretty weird, I know, I'm just testing some idea. Anyway, thank you for answer.
