Hello,

I heard mixed opinions on filling all RAM slots on the Motherboard.

So is it true to fill all RAM Slots on a Motherboard.

4 slots for eg. ROG Strix X570-F Gaming, I am planning for 64GB RAM so filling with 2 slots of 32GB each.

You do not have to fill all RAM slots.
If your MB has four slot capability then fill them as you please however this places extra strain on the IMC (Integrated Memory Controller) and an Overclock may be rejected. Check your MB manual.
If you fill one slot your RAM will work in single channel mode. If you fill 2 slots the system will be in dual channel mode.
Some Motherboards have quad channel capability which requires all slots to be occupied.

Check your MB QVL to check if there are indeed a 2x32GB kit that are tested.

The X570 only supports dual channel memory, so you can use either 2 x 32gb or 4 x 16gb.

Personally, I prefer 4 x 16gb because I can buy them cheaper at my local market.
