Hi, just bought a new grapich card and some more ram for my computer.
And had some problems with this but after installing each for it self it went fine. So now my computer detect both ram and grapich card. However evry time i open f.ex. google chrome my computer freezes complety or get ultra slow.. what may be the problem here?

Mobo: msi mohawk h270
Gpu : msi geforce gtx 1060 6gb OC
Cpu : intel i7-7500 kaby lake
Ram : kingston hyperx 4 gb and corsair 8 gb.
New ram : kingston hyperx 8gb
Ssd : kingston 120gb
Hhd : seagate 2 tb, and seagate 500gb

Does your power supply have enough juice to run the gpu?

Should never mix and match ram like that. They work best when all the same make and model number - even then it’s no guarantee. That’s why they sell sticks in kits. I would try just 2x8 and ensure all settings are the same for each.

Yes, recommended psu is 500w and its what i got. Yeah i didnt know before after i bought it. But after having to mixed up from before, and on my old computer i thoughr it would do no harm. I will try again with maybe 2x8 or 2 of the same. Thanks for the answer
