RAM speed 667Mhz? help.

Solution
The memory is running at 667 MHz, which equals 1333 MT/s because of the Double Data Rate that gives DDR3 its name. Your kit is rated to run at up to 1866 MT/s, which is actually only 933 MHz. Most kits default to 1333 MT/s = 667 MHz, so you need to go into BIOS/UEFI and set it to the faster speed. With an Intel board it should be as simple as enabling XMP and picking the profile for DDR3-1866.

I have Gigabyte ga-970a-ud3.
I must go to Bios > UEFI> and then i will see what speed i have to chose?

Is this something like overcloking? how can i know those changes are 100% correct for my computer?

Yeah. I'm not entirely sure how it works on an AMD system, but it should be reasonably simple to set.

It was AUTO. i change it to Profile 1.
nothing changes :/ still speed same..
my motherboard have DUAL UEFI, is that something i must check?

I just saw something about my motherboard (GA-970A-UD3 (rev. 3.0) . and says

  • (Note 1) Due to a Windows 32-bit operating system limitation, when more than 4 GB of physical memory is installed, the actual memory size displayed will be less than the size of the physical memory installed.
(Note 2) To support a DDR3 1866 MHz (and above) memory, you must install an AM3+ CPU first.
damn,, i dont know what to do :/ help me
