Hi guys, I'm looking at buying 32gb of ram for a new i7 7820x/X299 SLI PLUS build aimed at mainly 4k video editing and a little bit of gaming. I'm wanting to get the G.Skill Trident RGB RAM, which speeds should I be looking at to perform excellently for 4k video editing in Premiere Pro and photo editing with 42mp RAW files in Photoshop?

I am currently tossing up between 3000 and 3200 ($100 price difference) but could be convinced to go higher if necessary.

you need as much bandwith as you can get as it will affect how fast your CPU will munch the data.
your CPU will have 16 x 4ghz threads so I think having 16 Ghz bandwith would be best option.
Memory Types DDR4-2666 is default without OC. going higher if you wont OC wont rip any benefits.

from what I found OC guys recommend pushing thic CPU to 4.8 each and adding 32 GB of 3400 ram, I would go for that

Firstly, thanks a lot for your assistance! Just making sure I'm understanding this correctly. You're saying if I don't overclock the CPU, I won't see any benefit at all over DDR4-2666?
