Im a bit confused, i want to buy some rams since ive got some default 16gb ram from acer, ive been reading about something that 2nd gen only supports up to 1333mhz ram speed, and i want to know if it makes a difference if i buy rams with the speed of 1600mhz, just to make sure i dont do anything stupid.
-Thanks :)

Cpu: Intel Core i7 2600.

Solution
An Intel 2600 can support higher RAM frequencies when overclocking. It's default supported frequencies is 1066 and 1333. However, the jump from a 1333 to 1600 wouldn't be noticeable. Also considering Intel 2nd Gen CPUs don't particularly benefit from higher frequencies.

Not worth it. What are you not happy about?

What would you suggest i could do, an upgrade?
- My current ram speed is on 600mhz

Look all i know about my ram is this, some years ago i got myself an acer predator g3610 and i upgraded my motherboard, the GPU and my case, now i almost feel like my ram is too slow for the rest of the specs

Your ram is 1333mhz, cpu-z reads at half speed.

Wierd, well i need an upgrade since gta v is almost out i just have to figure out what i need my specs is

Intel core i7 2600
EVGA GTX 760 OC
the default 16gb from acer
120gb ssd + 1.5TB from default from acer
MSI H77MA-G43
Case: Thermaltake Armor A30

Thats exactly why im worried, gta iv is only playable on high in my situation

That's not because of hardware. That's because of a sh**ty job porting it to a PC. There are people with more powerful computers than your's who have problems running that game. They had to release a patch to fix most of the FPS problems.

Everything is pretty good in your system, could get a better graphics card though. Have a look at the GTX 970, huge boost over your 760:

Funny because ive been thinking of buying that card for weeks now, But whats best msi, asus evga?

The asus in my opinion, but they are all good.
