Hello,

It's just my first time building a PC, please be nice. >__<

I bought a 2700x, X470 with a G.Skill Trident Z 3000mhz (F4-3000C16D-16GTZR). The RAM is only running at 2933mhz when I enabled the XMP profile not 3000. Is it a problem with compatibility? Do I need to have it exchanged?

Solution
No, you don't have to change anything, 2933 is normal because of AMD MBs do not report FSB/BCLK frequency at exactly 100MHz but usually 98.7 to 99.8 or 9.
FSB/BCLK times RAM multiplier = RAM Frequency.
