[SOLVED] Ram Speed is rated higher from the manufacturer, should I change both speed and timings?

My Ram DDR4 Vulcan 3000Mhz Ram 8Gbx2 is rated to be able to run at 3200Mhz should I also change timings when switching it over to that or is it fine for me to leave them the same?

What you linked is rated for 3200MHz so in theory all you would have to do is to enable and set XMP in BIOS to 3200.

are you sure? cause that’s what I thought I was supposed to do, but I wasn’t quite sure. If so then I feel kinda stupid. Anyways thanks!
