[SOLVED] RAM speed issues

I currently have 2 8gb tforce ram up to 2666mhz. But running them on 2666 causes bsod but at 2400mhz they are stable. What can be the cause of this?

PS: RAM's weren't bought as a kit. Bought them separately because i didn't have a plan to go 16gb back then.
