Question RAM speed question

I'm looking at getting the

AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor

with the

MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard

I want to get some good RAM with this as well, but I see this on the motherboard's specification site:

For AMD Ryzen Gen3 (R5/R7/R9)
2667/2800/2933/3000/3066/3200/3466/3600/3733/3866/4000/4133 by A-XMP OC mode

What does this mean, what will I have to do in order to get my RAM running at its stock speed on this board?

if your RAM is sold as 3000 and that is its stock. set the BIOS to use the proper A-XMP AMD eXpanded Memory Profiles.
the memory controller is built into the CPU and the BIOS via the A-XMP will overclock that allowing the RAM to run at its stock speed of 3000 or beyond.
the Joint Electron Device Engineering Council (JEDEC) states that DDR4 run at 2666 and lower.

when you install the RAM (example 3000) it will show up as 2133 (JEDEC) and the system will run, until you go into the BIOS and tell it what speed and voltage your RAM needs at stock through the A-XMP settings, they should be ready to go. in my b450 board I opened the BIOS, went to the memory settings and told it to use 3000, rebooted and the RAM was running at its stock of 3000.
