Hi all,
I was checking out my BIOS and noticed that my RAM was running at 2133 MHz. This struck me as odd, as I use 3000 MHz RAM, G.Skill Aegis 2x8GB to be exact. I've checked the sticks, they're genuinely 3000 MHz. CPU-Z corroborates the BIOS' story, detecting a DRAM frequency of 1066.
Now I'm running an Intel i5-8400 on an ASRock Z370 Pro4 motherboard, so I know that I won't reach the full speed. That said, I'd expect 2666 MHz. Am I missing something here?
