I just got the mushkin Redline ram i realized 2133 mhz doesn work with the 8350 and only a few do . my question is i have the m5a97 le r2.0 mobo how do i configure timings or what is the comfirmed timings that work and how do i go about setting them

Solution
The memory controller is rated for 1866 in dual channel mode but that doesn't mean 2133 will not work. When you say it doesn't work what exactly are you trying to do?
What i am trying to do is set ram timings i have a setting 9 11 10 28 at 1840 it seems to be going fine so far I just wanted to know what other people have gottem with the cpu i have I main use my computer to game some times ill mess with blender and gimp

ok the settings i just had did finally give BS so im not really wanitn to mess wiht voltage but it was telling me the over clockced failed going from 9 11 10 28 to 9 11 11 30 which i thought was wierd because 9 11 10 28 will load but after about an hour it gave me BS not sure what went on there i know my cpu is at 4.5 ghz I do have a m5a97 le r2.0 mobo if that helps out any

So I am getting some issues it will give me bsod. I cant put it why Most of the power saving features are off i belive i turned most of them off . CPU / NB voltage are at 1.35 my cpu is back to 1.35 though it needs 1.4 to run at 4.5 ghz stable

But on to the memory What else can i try to get it to run stable or actually run at all i went through various settings and all of them failed a lot of them would not start the computer up and about 4 of them hanged for days ( 5 min max).
i disabled epu and i have tried timmings 9-10-9-28, -9-9-9-28-10-9-10-34 10-10-10 -30 non of those work setting from manual to docp didnt seem to help either Though i get better results with docp more of the ones i tried did load the computer but i got bsod

Keep in mind the cpu/nb voltage was at 1.35 and i believe i bumped the dram voltage up some

dram is 1.5 and ctb/nb was 1.35 Also it hangs i have it working but it hangs forever and its rlly stable .

my problem is its only at 1600. when i turnt he computer on i have to turn it off again then on .. after the bios will come up and say overclock failure if i hit restart button it will hang for 2 to 3 minutes then start windows . my goal is obviously 1866 i had it working earlier but it still was hanging pretty bad

Ok please give this a try and please understand i'm not familiar with your system board..... Enable the XMP profile then set your memory speed rating for 9.33 (1866) with whatever memory timings you need. Next your ram voltage is to low as only intel CPU's will function right with 1.5v so AMD's will require at least 1.6v.

well i tried that
but it didnt work I ended up goign back and setting every thing to default. I kept the core ratio at 20.. Then i bumped up the bus to 228 to get 4.5ghz made sure that was stable first. manual kind of changed it to 17?? Mhz . but i seem to have a stable oc with 9 9 9 27 and it is not haning
i hope it keeps up and doesnt giv eme bald

My fx8350 doesnt suppor i dont think or i just dont know a qay to get it there. 9 9 9 33 seems to be ok though im curious about other timings lower or even anything that might get 2100mhz to work
