[SOLVED] Ram Speed With a Ryzen 5 2600

Hi everyone, with a ryzen 5 2600 if i was to pair it with the VULCAN T-FORCE 3000mhz ram would that be a good combination, would i get the specified ram speeds or ? ive read you need to alter something in your BIOS, but am i going to get 3000Mhz or is it not worth the upgrade from 2666Mhz ? 3200 is out of my budget

There seems to be a very good chance that they will run near FULL spec on Ryzen. Based on reviews that I've read. Ryzen benefits from faster modules.

hello thanks for the response, i tried googling and see if i could see something that specifically said this ram will work and the specified speed but couldn't seem to find a clear answer, i think i have to go into the bios and change a setting and then it runs at 2933mhz or something but again not 100% sure

Yeah , you usually need to set it in the BIOS with DOCP , EOCP, AXMP.

Standard XMP is for Intel boards and memory.
