I increased it in bios from 4800 to 6000. I have 3 XMP choices in bios, xmp I, II, & treaked. I chose xmp II. Bios & taskmanager shows 6000, but cpuz shows 3000...confusing. Appreciate any help
Ah, very good, thank you sir.DDR(Double Data Rate) ram's actual clock speed is half it's effective data rate. So DDR4 3000MHz has a clock speed of 1500Mhz, DDR4 3200MHz has a clock speed of 1600Mhz, and in your case DDR5 6000MHz has a clock speed of 3000MHz.
Dont panic, your RAM is running at 6000MHz.
