Ram speed ?

Hello all, I just built a new system. I have a question about the ram. I bought DDR2 PC6400 800 and in cpu-z it shows 400 MHz is it 400x2 for 800 MHz ?


System Spec are
Mobo ep45-ud3p
Cpu E8500
Ram Corsair XMS 2 DDR2 PC6400
GPU EVGA 260
PSU Corsair HT620


Been about 3 years sense my last build so kind of rusty with the bios setting and all

Yes, CPU-Z shows up as half of the RAM speed. It looks like your RAM is running at DDR2 800.

Yes it's correct because ddr2 is double pumped.
