Was told before I upgrade my CPU I need to get my ram speed figured out. I have 4x sticks of 8gb ddr4 3200 mhz Corsair Vengeance LPX. Watched a video on enabling XMP, put it on Profile 1 in bios, saved and rebooted, and the speeds are still half what they should be, if that. I am on f37d of Gigabyte BIOS for the board and am avoiding BIOS flash if possible. Tomorrow is my day off and I don't want to brick my system. Lol. Let me know what you think and thanks in advance.

how are you measuring ram speed? unless its in the bios, most programs will show it at half the speed. ie 3200mhz will show up as 1600mhz. its still 3200mhz tho.

I think this answers it for me. Two of my sticks, the older two (they are all the same exact item though) are showing at 1499mhz, and the two I purchased to go alongside them show as 1600mhz. I'm just using HWinfo, there is a postimg in my post for you to look at if you like. Thanks for the help.

Task manager/perf/mem......what does it show for ram speed with xmp disabled and then with xmp enabled.

yeah the two old sticks are gonna define the speed of all of them.be thankful they are working together.that doesnt always happen.looks like your ram is running at 3000mhz.
