Ram stick preventing pc to boot

I need help I just build a new pc i5 8600 and a 1060 when I tried to boot it would just run for 5-10 seconds then shit down and do it again, I later figured out that the second ram stick was doing that problem but I want to use 8bg ram for gamOmg please help.

You must rule out if it's the ram stick doing this or rather the ram slot. Take the ram stick supposed to be defective and place it in the other slot. See if it boots up and update the post.
