Hi guys!

Recently I built my new pc: Ryzen 5 2600, Asus TUF b450 plus gaming and G.skill Ripjaws V DDR4 2x4 gb 3200mhz RAM F4-3200C16D-8GVKB.
I checked the bios, and the rams are running at 2133mhz. Updated the bios, enabled DOCP (xmp) to 3200mhz and 1.35v. Well, the pc doesnt boot up or if booted after some seconds restarts with blue screen.
I set it back to 2666 mhz, stress tested with AIDA64 and MemTest and it seems working fine without errors. Why cant I set it up to 3200mhz? Is there any solution?

In some games I get fps freezes, I mean once 200 fps then for 1 second drops to 1 fps. Whats the problem? Should I let it be on default 2133 mhz and the random freezes will disappear?

The bios version is 0604. I tried some variation, without XMP already. Some of them made the pc bluescreen. I tried running 3200mhz on every scale of 1.4-1.3v.

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
Motherboard: ASUS TUF B450 PLUS GAMING
Ram: G.skill Ripjaws V DDR4 3200mhz 2x4gb F4-3200C16D-8GVKB
SSD/HDD: Kingston 120gb ssd, some 1tb hdd
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1060 3gb
PSU: 500w corsair
Chassis:
OS: win 10 64bit

Are your sticks of RAM installed on slots A1 and B1 (the first and third ones) or A2 and B2 (the second and fourth)?

I had the same issue you did, and I had my RAM in slots A1 and B1. Moving them to the other pair of slots fixed the issue.

You could also try updating your BIOS to 0809 or 1002 and see if either of those help with RAM compatibility.

On my ROG Strix B450-F Gaming BIOS 1201 seems to work best for OCing RAM.
When I was using the original BIOS my G.Skill TridentZ RGB 3200 RAM only ran at 2133 MHz then on BIOS 0602 they could run at 3200 MHz.
Now I have them running at 3400 MHz without any issues on BIOS 1201.
BIOS 1201 also allowed me to run them at 3200 MHz with just DOCP set.
I did use the DRAM calculator to help adjust my timings to get them to 3400 MHz though.

So it is possible that simply updating the BIOS might allow you to get to 3200 or even 3400 MHZ.

No luck bro. I updated Bios to 0809 and after that to 1002. Still detect 2133, I enable DOCP and it failed to boot and reset back to 2133. I am so depressed. The first time I build using Asus and AMD cpu...so much headache

I wonder if the TS have solved this issue. I phone the asus retailer and wish to return their board but they blame my corsair ram. Instead the corsair blame the asus board. I die in the middle as an end user.

If that RAM is on the QVL for your MB it should run at 3200 MHz.

Have you tried using just one stick at a time and enable DOCP to see if maybe one of them is bad ?

I have checked the QVL list and my ram is Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200mhz 2x8gb kit (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16) and is not listed there. I will test the one stick tomorrow as you advised. I got frustrated.

@DMan999 Woah brow, you are my savior  As you advised to stick just one ram, I tried it but to another slot dimm B2, enable DOCP at 3200mhz, it boot flawlessly. Second time, I stick the other second ram on A2 dimm slot with DOCP enabled at 3200mhz, it boot perfectly and load windows smoothly. Before that, I put them both on A1 and B1 and A2 and B2 dimm slot, they didn't work with 0601 Bios Version (default version that came with the mainboard), after update to Bios version 0809 and 1002 (which I am now) I didnt try to change the ram slot until you advised me to do...Now Im called it A DAY...hehe, Ive been frustating for 4 days try to search and tweak this issue....Thank you mah man @DMan999 Youre my Angel ;)

I cant upload image via photobucket for some reason @DMan999 I just want to show you via cpuZ under tab memory, the DRAM frequency is showing 1596.2 mhz so it means 3200mhz right? But under SPD tab, Max Bandwith is DDR4-2132 (1066Mhz). Just need to make sure they are both running at 3200mhz

Yes, you double the cpuZ speed to get the actual RAM speed.
So congratulations your RAM is running at 3200 MHz now. (y)

My RAM is set at 3400 MHz so the Memory tab in cpuZ shows 1696.0 MHz.
And the SPD tab just shows the stock clocks and xmp ( aka DOCP) profile settings.

Thank you once again, what about software that can control fan speed dan temp checking? I tried Speedfan on this mainboard Asus TUF B450 plus gaming but it seems like Speedfan cannot detect mainboard temp and fan sensor.

I like it enough that I bought it. ;)
I do use Afterburner for my GPU fan profile but I use Argus to control all my case fans and my cpu cooler fan.
It is extremely customizable, you can set a different profile based on different components for each fan.
It monitors all my temps too.

You can try the trial version for 30 Days to see if you like it.
