Question RAM stuck at 2666 even with xmp profile set at 3600 Mhz.

Have been messing with running at lower freq such as 3200 Mhz, and no luck on getting it to rise at all. Have the latest bios installed. Possibly messing with timing and voltage might work, but have no idea how it works. any ideas?

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
MOBO: Gigabyte Model X570 GAMING X (AM4)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x16 3600 Mhz

Most models of Corsair Vengeance have Intel specific timings and are a hard sell to get working on AMD boards. Some simply won't work, period. What is the exact model of the memory kit you are trying to use?

So, those sticks show as compatible on the Corsair memory finder utility for that motherboard and CPU, so compatibility isn't the problem.

Which slots, exactly, are you populating with them? Starting at the CPU socket and moving towards the edge of the motherboard, 1, 2, 3, 4?
