I have a development PC that is on 24/7. It is a Dell with an i7-3770 and Windows 7 64 bit. Currently it has 12 gb of ram but I would like to bump it up to 16 or more, price depending.

I am just not sure what ram modules to purchase based on compatibility. I've grabbed my RAM specs from a pc spec analyzer (forgot the name). I have post the important details. It looks like I have 4 slots at 2GB/2GB/4GB/4GB, so I would be looking mostly to get rid of the 2s and bump to 4s or 8s.
