Hello,
I have a PC with an AMD Phenom II X6 1045t in it. I have 1600Mhz RAMs but my CPU RAM controller can only support 1333Mhz (please correct me if I'm wrong). If that is the case, is there any way I can overclock it to 1600Mhz spec or is that the fastest I can go? My second question is, I currently have Corsair RAM with 9-9-9-24 timing (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9), if I upgrade to RAM that has 8-8-8-24 timing (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8), would that make up for the 300mhz that my CPU cannot support? Also how much do you think I can overclock these RAM if at all with my current limitations of my RAM controller? Any help and tips would be much appreciate it. Thank You
