I have a new build and everything installed physically and software-illy without much problem. But 3 week in I had a BSOD for a page fault in nonpaged area. Something I remember from the build popped in my head. My UEFI bios is set on auto for RAM timings, but what it shows in the shadowed out line for timings doesn't match what is on my RAM packaging. 9-9-9-24 is on the packaging and the UEFI says 11-11-11-28 on automatic I think.
Could this cause a BSOD? And also, the RAM I have isn't technically on my motherboard's website on the compatibility list. But the exact same series of RAM is in a different size. I have G.Skill Ripjaws X Series. 8GB (2x4gb). The same series of RAM in 16GB and 4GB is on the list. Could this too be a problem?
