Hi all,
My recent build has been experiencing some random issues, like freezes that would either resolve or end in BSOD, audio stutters while editing audio and even just while playing a movie. I believe I have found the problem: My RAM (2x 4GB Corsair Vengeance 1600-CL9) Is supposed to run @ PC3-12800 (1600MHz) and timings of 9-9-9-24. However, CPU-Z tells me it is running at PC3-10700H (667 HMz) and 7-8-9-9. Entered my BIOS and changed the RAM clock from auto to 1600. Rebooted. CPU-Z still shows me 667 MHz... Also, I did not find a place to set the timings, any help would be greatly appreciated.
System:
AMD FX-3850 Vishera
ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0
Gigabyte AMD Radeon R9 290 Windforce
Win 8.1 Pro
