RAM timings on ASROCK not working

Hello,

I have an ASROCK board: N7AD-SLI, just installed Corsair 2x2048-6400c4 with timings of 4-4-4-12 @ 800MHz. I have checked on the Corsair forum for the correct settings in the Bios for the latency timing and adjusted them accordingly. However when I manually adjust them my system won't pass the POST and all I get is two long beeps and then it reboots. The system runs normally when I have the timing set to Auto but when I check the latency with CPUZ it is working at these settings:

DRAM Freq 400MHz
CAS# Latency 5
tRCD 5
tRP 5
tRAS 18
tRC 22
Command Rate 2t

I'd like to get this working but perhaps I just bought a crap board or maybe its the RAM?? Any help would be great thanks!

Did you change the Dram Voltage in the Bios?

I'm guessing it should be 2.1V (don't know your exact ram).

Yes this RAM is made for 2.1, I have changed it... I can't put it at exactly 2.1 because my bios is lame. So I have to choose either 2.08 or 2.14, I have tried both and still get the same result. I have ran Memtest and my RAM is fine, I assume ASROCK is crap and will not get one again. 🙁

I'm 99% sure that memory should be running at 5-5-5-18.....

Can you give the Corsair part number and full Corsair description?

Your DRM Freq is 400, but whats your Ref Freq? What Ratio are you using?
