Ram timings showing up different in Memtest86

Upon starting Memtest86 trying decide if I have a bad Mem stick, I noticed the info pertaining to the timing sets are different than what my Bios is telling me. The Bios is set to auto timings for my RAM but even when I put in on Manual and input the settings at 9-9-9-24, in Memtest it is showing the timings at 6-6-6-22.
Am I missing something? Why is Memtest reporting different timings than what my Bios is set to?

What mobo, CPU and model of the DRAM - Memtest often simply reads the defaults rather than what is actually running at

Memtest is notoriously inaccurate. I've had it reporting wrong CPU speed, wrong RAM speed, and wrong RAM timings.

Don't worry about it -- as long as you pass the tests, it doesn't matter what the speeds or timings show.
