Ram timings

Hi i recently built a computer and went to check the ram in the bios because a reviewer had said timings were off. i check mines and they were at 9-9-9-24 instead of 8-8-8-24. I was going to change it until i realized there were numbers after the 24. what do these have to do with it? should i change these along with the others or just leave them?

^ Post the make and the model number of those kits...
And it is not a problem if the RMA have CAS 9 or CAS 8...You wont notice much difference...

so full timings say 9-9-9-24-5-33-10-4, should i just change to 8-8-8-24-5-33-10-4? also does that affect both sticks of ram? because in bios there DRAM 1st info and 2nd. however 2nd is completely different timings and such
