Question Ram to slow?

I have a Ryzen 3600x with 16gb of ram the advertised speed is 3000mhz but I can only get it to 2933mhz. My question is would I see any difference with ram that I could get to a higher frequency such as 3000-3200 or higher?

If you were going from 2400mhz to 2933, then yes the difference is huge, sometimes up to 10-15% performance boost, in games and some tasks.

Going from 2933 (3000) to 3200 will yield a performance increase of approx 2-5% (task dependent). IMO it's not worth the upgrade. But, you could sell your current ram to offset the cost, so for the extra few percent, you might think it's worth it.

They call it 3000mhz ram but it is really 2933mhz and that's what it runs at.
