Hi guys, I'm not quite a tech guru, so for clarification I have an ASUS P8B75-V motherboard with a single stick Kingmax DDR3 1600 Mhz 8Gb stick, and want to add another 8 Gb because lately I've been running into full 8 Gb memory usage. My question is, should I add another 8 Gb stick from the same clock speed, same manufacturer, or should I add 2x4 Gb kit? Also if we're not counting the bucks would it be worth buying 16 Gb of a higher-end RAM and ditch the existing one? (if this would be the case what would you recommend as on the ASUS site it says something about the LGA1155 processor RAM support limitations)

Solution
There is no need to buy a full new kit of a better speed ram, the top speed of DDR3 is 2133mhz and you shouldn't invest the money on a new kit now, what I suggest to you now if you are planning on staying with your PC for a couple more years then just buy one more stick of 8 GB, there is no need to buy the same kind if it costs more just make sure it's the same speed at 1600mhz, like this...
