I got a msi leopard GP62M 7RDX laptop i7 7700hq can take up to 32gb DDR4 2400mhz, in order to upgrade the RAM, i bought G.SKILL Ripjaws DDR4 SO-DIMM 16GB*2 (32gb), knowing that i had already a 8gb samsung 2133 ram that works perfectly.

When i put in the new 2 RAM sticks, on booting it went straight to blue screen error 0xc0000098, and 0xc0000428 woth a message of some messing files from drivers (ACPI.sys specifically) the pc restarted by itself, the screen shows msi logo then goes black.

At this point idk what's causing this and if anyone can help with anything would be awesome

1- I updated the bios : same result (black screen)

2- I tried to put one G.Skill RAM stick at once : same result with both of the sticks

3- I combined each of the G.Skill 16gb ram with the Samsung 8gb ram that i had already : the pc boot normally and works perfectly showing 24gb in system informations (at this point i was sure that nothing's wrong with the new rams)

And that's it pretty much, I'm looking for a solution to put both of them at the same time and get it to 32gb..Help

If it boots with 1 stick 2133 and 1 stick 2400 but not 2x 2400 the system is having issues downclocking it. Bit weird. But when you put the samsung stick it it forces the gskill to 2133.

Give me the exact model number of the Gskill kit and I can help more.

I thought of that too, but is there any way to make them manually both work at a specific mhz whether 2133 or 2400, i looked for "msi click bios" but unfortunately there is no version for my 100 series chipset

For the model number check these photos i don't know which one is it

That is 3200 mhz ram that isn't on the QVL for that laptop it simply just won't downclock for some reason when paired together.
