Ram Upgrade for dell 5558 laptop

hello im new here and ill say hello to everyone and i have a small question ,so i have a dell inspiron 5558 laptop and it currently have a 4gb ram and i want to know if i could install any brand of ram on to it and what type of brands i should go for?

Brand isn't nearly as important as specs IMO. You'll need low-voltage DDR3L memory, and your i5 processor can handle up to 16GB of it at 1600MHz, like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231705
