This is my current build:

Noctua NH-D14 Dual Radiator and Fan CPU Cooler
Intel Core i7-2600K 3.40GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - Retail
2TB Samsung HD204UI Spinpoint F4 SATA-II 3.5" Hard Drive
Samsung SH-S222AB/BEBE DVD Writer
Liteon Ihas 524
Coolermaster HAF X NVIDIA Edition Full Tower Case
ASUS P8Z68-V PRO Intel Z68 (REV B3) Socket 1155 DDR3 PCI-Express Motherboard
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
750W Corsair HX Series Modular ATX2.2 SLI/Crossfire Compliant Power Supply
8GB Corsair Memory XMS3 DDR3 1600 MHz CAS 9 Dual Channel Desktop - CMX8GX3M2A1600C9 4 x 4gb
128GB CSSD-F120GB3-BK Force 3 SSD
MSI R9 380 Gaming 4GB

I have just added 2x4gb of corsair 1600mhz ddr3 with the same 99924 rating, the system was working perfectly before i added the ram, but now the system will boot but won't display thing?

I have removed the cmos battery for 10 minutes to no avail, I have also removed the new ram but the system will still not display anything on the monitor?

On closer inspection my old ram is 1.65 v and the new one is 1.5v?

Could someone suggest something else for me to try as i am scratching my head with what to do next?

Many thanks

Solution
The answer was stupidly obvious...... My ram needs to be pressed in till it click twice.... it had only clicked once but felt as if the mobo was flexing so I stopped pushing, its sorted now and the new ram works fine too!

Thank you Zerk that would have been what I did next!

Their never a guarantee when adding memory it will play nice together even if you buy what looks like the same memory the parts used to make the memory could of changed. I would try to return what you bought and buy a new 2X8gb set that's the safest bet.
