Question Ram upgrade on MSI h110m pro vd will boost?

Hello i got MSI h110m pro vd and
Patriot Viper 4 ddr4 2x 4gb 2400 cl15

Looking to upgrade my pc a bit. Wonder if add other ram will help?

Or i need change mono

Gtx 1060 6gb Intel procesor



My friend with 1060 and amd procesor with 16gb ram have better fps on ark survival evolved game.

You'll definitely notice a difference going 16gb.

That game can easily use 8gb, probably more. Problem with 8gb is, even though you have 8gb, Windows already consumes north of 1.5gb onwards to 2gb for itself leaving you with around 6gb.

For games using decent amount of ram, on a 8gb system, there'd be no doubt there's quite the paging from the OS drive going on to compensate and that's not good for performance. An ssd would help in that regard but more ram would be better. Having an ssd for Windows and games would go along way too.
