Hello!
There is a memory single slot available on my laptop and I want to upgrade my RAM by installing a 8 GB DDR4 RAM. But I am confused with what clock speed I should get. The performance tab in the task manager says 2133 MHz. I really don't find RAMs with that exact frequency in the market. So, what's going on here? Also, what things should I take into consideration while upgrading my RAM? I need this upgrade really since I only have a 4 GB of soldered ram on the motherboard.

What laptop brand model are you going to upgrade?

They have 320-14IKB. There is another similar model 320S-14IKB. Both have maximum capacity of 16GB, that is also including soldered ram. So 8GB module is the largest they can put in it. 16GB stick may work but is not official, even though Crucial say it's compatible, or they mean if original ram was removable.

All ram have standard jedec speed of 2133, plug and play speeds. So faster ram, 2400~2666~3200 etc will run at base speeds.
