Question RAM Upgrade (swapping old RAM to lower level laptop)

Hi. I have 2 laptops:
Lower Spec Laptop:
HP laptop 15s-fq1xxx: Specs:
i5 1035G1
Listed on HWinfo as Intel UHD Graphics 920 however I'm pretty sure it's - Intel UHD G1 (intergrated) since 920 is listed as a desktop GPU
1x 8GB 2667mhz RAM (has 2 slots available)
SSD - 250GB KBG30ZMV256G Kioxia

Higher Spec laptop:
Alienware M15 R1:
i7 8750H
Intel UHD 630
RTX 2070 Max-Q
2x 8GB 2667mhz RAM
250GB SSD
1TB SSD

I am currently considering upgrading my Alienware to 2x 16GB 3200mhz RAM (32GB) however would it be possible and/or reccomended to swap out my old Alienware RAM (2 years old) into my HP Laptop or buy new 2x 8GB 2667mhz RAM for it (possibly 3200mhz if it is worth it)? I mainly use my HP for most of my work stuff like heavy file transfers, just "work" in general and as a backup PC for in case my Alienware fails for some reason as my HP I have found can handle low - medium level games that aren't very heavy. Main reason for this is since the 22H2 update and before my RAM usage when idle has been sitting at around 70% to near 90% idle whilst everything else is sub 5% usage and my CPU rarely hitting 20% - 30%
Also yes I am considering upgrading my HP to 1TB SSD

Since these 2 ram sticks won't be being used try it.

You might want to boot up something memtest86 and let it test the new setup in the hp before turning windows loose with the setup.
